Please move the dump station to the campground away from the congested parking lot where the new restaurant & the fishing excursion boat parking is making it dangerous to maneuver an RV to the dump. An accident is ready to happen!

Absolutely beautiful, wild & windswept ! I camped (no RV) and it was wonderful - even in the cold and wind. The National Park Service Ranger Joseph was extremely helpful, informative and so very nice. I can tell that he loves his job, the place that he works and the area that he lives in. I gladly came back and camped again a week later when my Ocracoke plans fell through due to the ferry interruption. Thrilled to be back in Oregon Inlet Campground and the 4 WD Beach access ramp was right next door. Oregon Inlet Fishing Center was across the Hwy, a great place to charter a boat !And yes, the campground was clean and the facilities were clean. :-)

Small crowded campsites with little privacy. And always windy, according to the ranger. It sure was when we were there. Bathrooms were clean. Showers werent open when we were there although we were told they would be.

Just a nice campground with easy, short access to the beach & ocean.

Had the best site. No hook ups... no problem. Showers were rustic but.. its camping haha! Wind can get going early season so tie it down or chase it around. First trip to OBX, we will be back next year for sure!

Just on the other side of dunes from the ocean, this is a gorgeous getaway. If you want some natural brush or dune next to your campsite, select D loop even numbers between 2-16. Otherwise it's just extremely open.

Wild, beautiful spot in the dunes of Assateague. A gem.
