It was really nice. Like most places in outer banks you should bring sandals because sand spurs and eastern prickly pears are everywhere. If you are prepared this place can be really nice and the facility is well kept. Neighbors were all peaceful and quiet but Im sure that can change from week to week

The place isnt bad definitely and the people working there were friendly and pretty hands off which is nice when youre just trying to chill. The sites are all pretty close together so if youre thinking of camping here to escape people you wont unless you go during a time almost nobody else is.

The host went out of his way to make sure I had the things I needed. He allowed me to change my site numerous times from electric to non electric which he did all on his end. He even came over and warned me about a storm coming in. Great Guy, great place

one of the nicer campsites, as there are dunes behind this site, giving a bit of privacy. no shade. long walk to the beach.

We loved the Oregon Inlet campground! However, it would have been nice if the shower house was open while we were there.

Always a highlight of our OBX vacation to spend the first night camping in the dunes.

It was wonderful for a February beach campsite! Bathroom was clean, and much appreciated. It was never clear to me where a spigot was for water but was fine. There were only two of us in the A tent loop. I'll be back again next month (birding in area). If you go, be prepared for wind, there is little protection. Bring sand stakes. Have a system down to anchor tent while building it up. It was great to be there with no bugs but the sand spurs don't go south for the winter.

Excellent excellent excellent friendly camp hosts, clean level campsites, prepare for large gusts of wind. Hot Showers until after Thanksgiving, Tents need sand tent pegs and sandbags etc. If you have a dog prepare for grass burrs.

Beautiful place. I would highly recommend. If you have a health condition though, be aware that the "walk" to the beach over the dunes is not an easy one from loop A. Other than that, it's a really nice place and seeing the Milky Way was an absolute surprise and a sight for sore eyes.

Outer loop showers were shut down. Wish I had known. The female ranger was so rude that I tried to cancel my reservation, but no $ would have been refunded. So I stayed the one night and moved on. The beach is incredible!!

Stayed by myself for one week. Was there for fishing. Camp was very clean and comfortable. Everyone was friendly and the hot showers are a big plus. Will be back, thank you

It was our first time at Oregon Inlet Campground and the Ranger at reception was very helpful. The campsite was good with easy access to the beach. Although the campground was crowded, everyone was very considerate and followed the rules. Our biggest concern was the limited number of showers for the number of campers.

I loved my visit to Oregon Inlet. Campsites had just enough space. Staff and rangers were very kind and professional. Facilities were clean and everything I needed for four days. The wind was the challenge of the visit. 30mph winds are no joke with a tent and camp stove cooking. I ended up sleeping in the back of the car after one night of being blasted with sand through the tent even up under the rain fly. Other sites had clearly broken tents from the wind beating. It was definitely still worth it but be prepared for wind.
