Sat/Sun 10/5&6 - site was fine. Showers were warm (I was surprised). Ocean access over dunes was a little tedious, but....

Good campsite, shower area and layout of campground. Markings through the dunes to the beach could have been better. There were a couple old wooden stakes along the path that just stuck slightly above the sand. I stub my toe on one at night and it was very painful. Other than that it was a nice campground with very easy check-in

The tent camping sites were very nice. Easy access to the propert and the staff was friendly and informative. The only thing lacking was quality shower facilities: there was very limited room to hang your clothes and toiletries, and the shower heads and water temperature were less than adequate.

What is not to love? Other than the close proximity of the sites to each other. Never understood that quite frankly. You're trying to get away yet a family is 20 feet from you in an open air environment. Regardless, I loved it. Nothing beats camping next to the beach. And this is a quality campground, nice amenities. It's a campground, get over yourself if you think otherwise. Great and hope to be back. I just wait til the season is over to get a little more solitude. But you guys keep going in the summer to keep those of us that want quiet peaceful experience happy, thanks.

Nice campground close to the ocean and ORV ramps for surf fishing which is why I chose it. Stayed at tent site A1 which is nestled in a small sand dune. Not a lot of space between sites but it was doable. Facilities were clean and the staff was very helpful. Dog owners should watch out for all the burrs that seem to be just about everywhere and are painful for our furry friends.

No trees; it is a beach campground. No privacy between sites for the same reasons, but that's the trade-off for the unique location. Sand is everywhere, but if you didn't know that, you've chosen the wrong place already. Surf's up!

Female camper by myself- I felt safe! Amazing location, the beach is right over the sand dunes, and available bathrooms and showers. -1 star because the showers and 2/3 bathrooms were closed when I stayed.

Facilities were clean and campsite was quiet and well maintained. Covid precautions were taken by all at the campgrounds.

The campground is clean, neat and close to some great attractions. Easy access to a boat ramp to paddle both the sound and ocean water. The dunes are fantastic. The downside for me was that some of the facilities were closed for winter. Small nod to economics.
