I really enjoy every time I come to your campground, and I come quite often. Even as it is primitive I make do and enjoy all beauties of the beaches and surroundings.I do have one complaint and really, I am a pet lover so please understand. A barking dog and the last visit there were two barking dogs that constantly barked right across from my camp site. I come for relaxing time and not distractions. Maybe a section of the campground for barking animals or just leave them at a pet hotel somewhere. I try to be a Great Person and keep smiling and try not to make waves with my neighbors. I will keep coming to your campground and enjoying!!

area is well maintained, including bathrooms and showers. Nice size camp sites. Quiet and nice area to get away from the busy times of our lives.

My husband and I went to Ocracoke for the Fig Festival this year. Even though it rained, it was a very relaxing time. The bath house and showers next to our campsite were closed, but there was another within walking distance . Even with the unforseen problems, we will definitely come back.

Myself, and two of my grandsons and one of their friends came down to camp for three nights and fish. We had a really good time. It was enjoyable made some good memories didn’t really catch that many fish, but will be back in September but all in all it was really fun.

Great location right next to the beach. The water and dump station is convenient and decently equipped. It would be a great improvement if electricity were run to the RV sites. During our stay it was cool, quite windy, and we got a fair amount of rain which swamped some of the sites. Not an issue with the park, but the weather outlook is something to consider when planning to stay here. We booked three months out and went despite the weather outlook. A lot of people did cancel when the weather outlook became clear. Campground went from "sold out" three months ago to less than 25% occupancy.

Had a good night there, met some nice people from out west there. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful with me making reservations for the ferry. The campground and lighthouse was worth the visit.

This is our wind down from traveling all summer place and it did not disappoint. The rains came the last couple days but the camp host helped us change to a site not flooded easily and efficiently. Thank you.

We love this campground. You can go to sleep listening to the ocean waves. Generally people abide by the quiet hours as well. The kids loved checking out the lightening bugs after dark. The only drawback is that the ocean tends to be rough/choppy so the kids can’t do much swimming. The beach is so nice though. Also, loved how dog friendly it was even in May. The island does not have much to offer families with kids outside of the beach/ocean. Also, we usually plan to eat out once during our trip and we had a difficult time getting a table on a Sunday night.
