Ocracoke and the campgrounds are underrated gem of the east coast with beatiful beaches and an unmatched atmosphere that somehow still retains its serinity despite all the foottraffic. We loved seeing the milk way and the moon rise on the water. For the campground itself, the bathrooms and showers were well-kept, but our campsite somehow ended up double booked for the weekend but the other group moved on after the first night. That may have been a website booking error.

We were here in June and just had to come back in July. Trying to get August before school starts but doesn't look good. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE everything about this campground. Can't wait to come back.

Incredible experience camping next to the beach and seeing the lunar eclipse at night! Good beach combing and delightful local brewery and museums.

Clean campground. The only thing that would make it more enjoyable would be a little warmer water for the showered. Oregon inlet campground had warm showers but terrible campground due to incredible amounts of sand spurs

A really beautiful and well maintained campground. We loved being so close to the beach and falling asleep to the sound of the surf. We really look forward to our next visit!
