Loved this campground. The location is beautiful, remote and the sites are well spaced. We were there early April. Lucked in to sunny, blue skies, near 80 degrees We were in the D loop in a site backing up to the beach. Slept with windows open in our RV all night to listen to the crashing waves. Pure heaven on earth.

Nice and quiet on D loop without any generator noise. Brought a propane fire pit as wood fires not allowed. Bought 4WD permit to go on beach at ramp 72 to surf fish. Awesome experience. Not many resturants open in early March. Campground host Keith is a retired Marine and nice guy to talk with. Can't believe they work for nothing but a site to stay in. No law enforcement Rangers in the campground when we were there, but they did patrol the beach. Campground reasonably quiet that time of year. Nice!

This is a great camp ground. I felt totally safe and supported. The grounds, cites, and facilities were all pristine. The hosts are wonderful and a great source of information. I am already making plans to return!

The most amazing campground I have ever stayed at. The sites were incredible, a short walk away from the beach, the facilities were clean and well stocked, and the camp host was kind and a treat to talk with! Will be back, highly recommend

Beautiful campground right on the beach. I loved the privacy. Bathrooms were clean and convenient. A hot shower would have been nice!

As always the campground was great... The heat got to me a bit... The flies started doing a little bit of biting but not too bad...

D015 was absolutely, by far the best spot at the campground. It was extremely private and we basically had our very own beach entrance. However, because the tent pad is located so far back from the pavement and dirt, (1) make sure you bring sand tent stakes and (2) beware of higher winds---they seem to sweep across the grassy expanse right behind the tent pad and pummel this spot more than others.

I've read other people's complaints of bugs, but they weren't *that* bad. The mesh on our tent was tight enough to keep them out at night. As others have also mentioned, definitely bring your own source of shade (canopy, umbrella) because even the ground gets hot really fast.

Overall, a clean, quiet campground with well-maintained bathrooms and helpful rangers. Unbeatable remote location and natural beauty.

Our campsite was perfect. We had easy access to the beach, and a few bushes to protect us from the wind and provide a little privacy from the other sites. Bathroom and shower were clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only downside were the mosquitos.

Great spot to stay, the beach side spots have plenty of wind blockage which is perfect

Nice campground with great beach access. Fairly quiet, with some road noise. Spots had good separation with some trees for privacy.

One of my most favorite places in the world. I have probably been here 7 times and for sure will return.

The beachside campsite we had was amazing! Just a few steps over the dunes to the beach, which was mostly deserted. And thankfully, the weather was nice. It was so wonderful to be able to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. We're looking forward to coming back soon!

We loved this campground! Lots of smaller RVs/vans or tents which was more our speed. Great access to the beach, had some trees near by for privacy (not much in the way for shade but that was ok!). Bikes into the downtown area which was easy. Bathrooms could use a good scrub and water was very cold but still was one of our faves!

Oh my when you can camp next to the beach and you are the only ones there it is blissful. Beach walks to die for. Chilly and some rain but we stayed an extra night anyway. Facilities appear new or being worked on.
