The bathrooms were well maintained. I have tent camped with my family on the beach before and didnt have flush toilets or running water so having both in a well maintained bathroom was excellent.

We camped at Ocracoke for 10 days and had a wonderful visit. We have been going for 20 years and will continue until old age stops us. The weather was great 9/10 days and the dunes are still beautiful.

The campground is right on the Hatteras National Seashore. There are cold showers which was fine because it was so hot but no hooks, benches or shelves to hold towels/ bath items. Three stars because the bugs were relentless.

Very nice campground. Level paved sites. Quick access to the dunes, beach and ocean. The website map is a good reference but now that we have been there we know which campsites we will try to get the next time and then give a 5 star review instead of the 4 star for our first visit.
