The absolute best place in the World! Frisco NPS Campground is our favorite place to stay! We stay here just about every weekend during their open season. (wish they would stay open year round). In my opinion there isn't a bad site in the whole campground. Tent camping or a camper, you're gonna be pleased either way. The staff are great although we didnt see Sandy at all this year and only saw Amy a cpl times. They are the best :) My only advice is bring bug spray because the bugs like Frisco as well but it's definetly not a deterrant to stay somewhere else. Happy Camping and can't wait for our next visit....probably nex weekend;)

The campground location from the beach is great. Across from the entrance to the grounds is a gas station with a small grocery store that was very convienent for last minute items and ice. The site location (F5) was nice and quiet. Reasonably close to bathrooms. We were disappointed that the site was not maintained in anyway. (Knee high grass shoots matched with sand spurs) We spoke with the park ranger upon arrival about switching sites (we have small children). I was told that although there was the availability online, its a lot of work to switch sites in the computer system. I mention about our request in wanting to switch being the upkeep The park ranger suggested I write a review with my suggestion about the site upkeep. Since we weren't able to switch sites, we spent sometime clearing a pad for our tents, around our picnic table and grill area. Not all site locations in the park are like this. If bringing an RV, I would have no problems with any sites. Every site seems to have enough parking space.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
