Great campground. Excellent location and clean facilities. Not crowded and plenty of space between campsites.

We used to camp at another location nearby, but this trip secured Frisco Campground as our go to location. I want to give it a single star so that I can keep this wonderful campground a secret for myself. While we were there this time we had two day of torrential rain and wind while camping in a tent. It was actually a good experience because we really explored the various camp sites in the camp ground and found out that there are open and secluded site that are great for tent camping. The fact that you can access the ocean beach right from the campground is really nice also. Showers and bathrooms were clean although warm water in the showers would be nice.

I was continually harassed by the park ranger. We arrived late at night and were not able to book the site for the night before because of the restrictions on the website. We did book for the next night and slept from 5AM until 10AM when we were awoken by the park ranger yelling from the road. Evidently, our tent was placed beyond the range of the illegible sign that marked the boundary of where the site allowed a tent. Also, the driveway was very small, and we had to park somewhat on the sand. The park ranger wanted us to park correctly and move the tent, which we did and then requested we come to her office. We also did that but she was not there. The next morning, she came back and harassed us some more about the previous day and not being parked one in front of the other. I offered her cash money for the morning when we had driven all night and slept, but she would not take it. I explained to her again that I was unable to pay for that portion of the night, and that I have been to the site three times since July. One of these times, I did not ever check in and was not able to cancel. I also had a very positive experience with all three of the other park rangers. This person was very unpleasant and it made our trip very stressful.

Unlike most beach camping spots, here you are in the scrub trees and dunes. you generally don't see the folks next to you. You do see the folks across the street. Very nice experience.
