An all around great beach campground!

Our site (P01) was reasonably level and had some shade. We had good access to the beach and restrooms. Stickers were everywhere so keep your dogs in the sand as much as possible. T-Mobile cell service was abysmal - just barely usable if we were in the correct place in our RV.

We had to evacuate due to a tropical storm but the camp hosts were excellent at communicating the timing of the evacuation. The cell phone service is patchy and they did a great job of using the coconut wireless to communicate.

Nice quiet campground with well spaced out sites. Our site, #P10, was paved, level and more than long enough for our 33 motorhome. The beach was a moderate walk over a nice boardwalk and then over some sand dunes. The beach itself was wonderful. We did not use the restrooms or showers. We would definitely come back!

Cozy campsites with some shade in some, so select carefully. Easy walk to the beach with warm beautiful water and nice sandy beach.

It was very hot the rv was like a oven, we had tu run the generator til 10 pm But our campsite was awsome

We had a beautiful, private campsite, well protected from the high winds. The grounds were clean and though there was no staff on site, things seemed well organized.

Nice campground, fairly empty, nice walks to the beach, beautiful sunrises and sunsets and birds. Somewhat marred by pickup trucks on the beach. It's a national seashore, not a national parking lot. Better to make an actual parking lot and then keep the beach pristine.

Campsite was easy to get to with friendly attendant who made check in a breeze! Amazing access to a beautiful beach and hiking trail. Loved it!

I camped here with my daughter in October, and we had an amazing time. We were at site P-10, which was on the eastern side of the campground and not far from the beach access paths. The site was somewhat secluded and shaded and offered trees for hammocks, which we were not expecting. The walk to the beach was stunning, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I can't wait to come back!

Besides the obvious (excellent proximity to the ocean!), there are two things that made this campground stand out to us: how dark it was, and how quiet it was. That may not be a draw for those who are social night owls, but it was perfect for our party of two and made the whole trip more relaxing overall. We stayed on site P10 and appreciated its proximity to the boardwalk and live oak coverage for our tent.

Check in is not till 3:00 PM. I arrived at 3:20 PM. The office was closed and I found my camp pass under the glass which indicated it was for late arriving parties. On the website I would show the hours that a physical person is at the check in station.
