Clean water, showers, and amazing sites right near the ocean. We come every year.

I will recommand hot water for the showers. It's been 2 years in a row that we reserve in May, and no hot water.

I didn't even go yet I get a voicemail stating I've overstayed my booking and needed to leave. So I tried calling to have nobody answer multiple times. There's not even a voicemail to leave a message. I work nights and sleep during the day so it will be hard to get ahold of them without a voicemail.

The Frisco campground is so beautiful...a truly special place. However, I could not find a ranger from when I arrived at 4:45 pm until around 6:30 that evening and she/he never made rounds. I was traveling with two small children and was at the far end of the campground so couldn't keep leaving to find him/her while I needed to set-up and care for the kids. I had reserved 2 sites and somebody else took over one of them. I just let it go after searching for the ranger after finding it occupied so that it didn't ruin my trip. My friend and I just squeezed into one site and enjoyed, but I paid for and expected two.

Great site. Bathrooms clean, and filled with toilet paper. Sites a good. Good proximity to beach

Our site had a low spot that flooded the tent. Al age tent could not be placed in any position that would have had it flat and also above the resulting water line. Some simple grading work would resolve the issue and we would have done it if we had had more time before the storm. Beautiful campground in a great location.

It is an amazing place tucked away in the dunes along the Atlantic. It is primitive where it matters but well cared for with paved roads and pads. Many of the spots are hidden from others. The staff is friendly. Beach access is provided by a walkway and also by unpaved roads that require 4wd and a permit. There are many many miles of fine wide beach for fishing swimming and wave riding. There is no dump or fill facility though there are a few faucets for wash and drinking water. There are showers and toilets throughout the park. There are also quite a few burrs of the meanest sort so be prepared.
