Clean campground close to Nags Head dining and shopping. Excellent beach access. Level sites. Some sites have road noise, especially if tent camping, but definitely manageable. Well definitely be back.

Love the location of the campground. Please keep camps such as this one, simple and affordable..not everyone needs water and hook ups on site. The only thing was that the access to the beach with a steep dune at the end of the boardwalk with very soft and deep sand on one side was a little hard for a senior, more efforts had been made for the SUVs access.Apart from that, I am bery grateful that we have such campgrounds as Frisco and will definitely return.

Nice campground and semi private spots. My main comment is PLEASE install hot showers. Use as a solar exercise pilot/progressive innovation to write a grant, whatever.
Also install solar showers at Ocracoke campground.
Frisco is my favorite campground on the Hatteras Seashore. While large, it has a lot of geographic relief and variability. The campsite I prefer is relatively private. On this trip the bathrooms were in excellent shape. It's just a lovely spot.
I enjoyed the rural beach orientation and perspective of FRISCO campground in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The weather was great, population was sparse and access to all amenities was perfect. I felt safe and secure and the same feelings were expressed by my family. The staff on site was most helpful, and upon our arrival at the campground it was neat and well-maintained. We enjoyed chatting with our fellow campers, and Beach Access was trouble free. we enjoyed a campfire on the beach and utilized an online national Park service fire permit form. Felt kind of guilty because it required us to print that out but we didn’t have that capability. Perhaps an online form that could be electronically presented might help drive better compliance with the pit fire system. overall an excellent experience and we look forward to camping there again.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
