Very spacious and quite campground. Every campground has an installed coal barbeque grill. I had a tent and a car. Campsite was sandy, spacious and had shadow as well as sun. Great star view at Nights . Very close to the and in the shores. Showers are in nature with no hot water , but it heats up little bit up during the day, I Loved it.

Campgrounds were lovely. Bathrooms were clean. Friendly, respectful people. Short walk to the beach. Couldn’t ask for much more!

Place is quiet inviting and relaxing Only recommendation have installed solar panel for the shower Everything else should stay as its is beautiful

Beautiful, well kept campground. We camped in mid April so the weather was mild- not too hot - and there were no mosquitos or gnats to contend with. There is limited signage for this, but thanks to the good advice of a park ranger, there is a connection to a 4.5 mile stretch of the North Carolina path system at the east end of the campground which leads to the WWII British Sailor cemetery right near Hatteras Lighthouse. The path is great for a quiet, easy, long hike and good for cycling though in several places you have to walk your bike due to sand.
