Great location, peaceful and in communion with nature. Extraordinary hikes, especially chesler loop and the trail from loop b campground to bigs spring canyon

Beautiful campground! The campground host was very nice and helpful and suggested nearby trails. We hiked to the needles overlook from the campground to watch the sunset, it was stunning! My only complaint was that we squished two tents onto one pad because we didn't see the other one hidden way back in the trees until the next day.

Needles Campground is a hikers paradise. There are many great hiking trails that start right from the campground. It's undeveloped but that is one of the unique and positive features of the campground. Bathrooms are clean and in good shape. You can only reserve site in Loop B. Sites in Loop A are first-come, first-serve.

Magnificent area, one of our favorite National parks. We were fortunate to secure a spot in the Needles district since there are not a lot of rv sites. It was perfect.

Great place in a wonderful section of the park, very quiet, only a few sites. Clean restrooms w/ flush toilets, potable water available. You can start amazing hikes to e.g. Chesler Park directly from the campground. We love to come back. Greetings from Germany,

The park has lots of neat vistas and hiking trails. The campground was very quite and well the sites are spaced out so they are not crowded. The lack of water and dump station was not a big deal. The restroom had a dish sink which really helped a lot.

the views and the trail heads right by the campground were the best. Sunsets what can I say!

Beautiful, well maintained campground. My family had a great time! And the camp host was very friendly and helpful.

25b gave us a front row seat to the night sky. Also close to trailheads. Felt like we were in the backcountry with frontcountry amenities.

I really enjoyed camping at the Needles campground! I stayed at both 25B and 26: they are next to each other but still had a good amount of privacy. My car was shaded in the driveway of 26 for a good amount of the day, thanks to a HUGE rock. Both 25B and 26 are next to the bathroom, also within walking distance of a trailhead. I had no trouble staking my tent at either site. They are not lying about "no electricity" in the campground -- you need to bring a lantern into the bathroom at night (there are skylights during daytime).

Remember there are no hookups - we arrived late and hiked - tried to sleep for a few hours in the oppressive heat, hiked again early in the morning and left. There were record highs during our trip.

Quiet, peaceful, and well managed small campground in a stunning location. Sunsets from atop the campground slickrock were spectacular.

Campground host was excellent and Ranger Jason was an excedes expectations park ranger. Canyonlands is clearly well loved and now I’m one of its newest lovers. Will definitely be coming back!

Been 25 years since I stayed at this campground and still one of my favorites. Great amenities and very clean. Rangers very helpful as well. Highly recommend Needles if you can book it
