Very peaceful campground directly at the Success Lake. We used the campground for an overnight stay on our journey from Lodgepole Campground to Las Vegas for which it was perfectly suited.

The grass was dry, stickers(goat heads) through out the camp grounds. They were in your shoes and had to remove them before we went into motorhome, tent or in our vehicle. Water kept getting shut off. It was like this when we were here in May. The dogs kept getting the stickers in their feet and stuck in their hair.

Camping toward the end of October there was no crowd. The grounds were very clean though the water level is extremely low.

Unfortunately our stay was bad enough that we only stayed 2 out of the 5 nights booked and left for a safer park without asking for a refund. It seems as if anyone can enter the campground at any time and use the facility whether or not they have paid to be there. We were woken up late both nights by people who seemed to be under the influence of some kind of substance running around naked and walking on the roof of the restroom facilities. The restrooms and showers were honestly scary to use especially at night because of the random people and I would not recommend allowing children to use them without an adult even during the daytime. They were also incredibly disgusting, hot, and most of the locks are broken or the doors just wont even close. There is very little shade all around so the heat during the day is almost unbearable. There are sites with hookups and it seems like theyll allow people to launch a watercraft at any hour day or night so maybe that is a positive attribute to this place. I would never return solely because of the safety issues.

Need better highway signs to enter the park. That would be for safer entering the park. The campground was clean, and the landscape was very well manicured. I would recommend Tule campground.

We had a pull thru with 50 amp and water in December. It was quiet and peaceful. There are a lot of birds including a nightly hooting owl.

Very quiet after 10pm... No problems at all. All the employees in the office and rangers are very helpful and nice.
