Stickers throughout the campground, large holes in ground without marking. Showers did not have lights and men's restroom didn't have lights. Drinking fountains did not work. many electric boxes were faulty These issues were with the older part of the campground.

We go here avidly with our motor home and boat and totally enjoy our time. This is the place we love to take our grand kids as well.

This is a very nice campground and I will return. I gave 4 stars and not five because on arrival my site was very dirty the fire pit had trash in it, cans, a 1/2 full jug of milk and so on. The campsite overall was littered with the left overs of Easter. The wonderfull host did come over with a blower and cleaned off most of the litter, I cleaned the fire pit.The dump station was out of service and I had to go elswhere and pay $20.00 to the outfit up the road but that said it was some miscreant that tossed there cloths down the pipe at the dump and plugged things up.Did I say the host was graet as well as the rangers.Good job

Our campsite was shaded and comfortable even with 100 plus degree temperatures. There was a power failure while we were there so a generator is suggested . The campground had a water line issue but all campers were advised to fill their fresh water tanks if they had them available. Even with the maintenance issues , we had a good time . All of the campers were respectful of others , the sites were clean and the lake and recreation areas were not congested. The camp hosts were very informative, helpful and had great attitudes. All in all a great experience!

Don't be fooled by the pictures. The pictures make the campsite look very green and shaded. The greenery is a solid 200+ feet away from the campsite and we had very little shade (making the heat pretty unbearable). You'll be camping in dirt. Bugs were a problem, our campsite was quite roach infested. The water is pretty far away. Quiet time is 10pm to 6am and yet children were screaming incessantly at all hours of the night and early in the morning.

Verizon had no signal, ATT was fine. There's a small store within a few minutes walk for ice, water, soda. The lake itself is pretty but the water is very green. Our campsite had quite a bit of trash remaining in it when we arrived. Due to the absolute unbearable heat combined with the lack of shade, we were forced to leave early as one of our campers became sick from sun exposure.

If you aren't in an RV or coming here during very, very moderate temperatures, camp elsewhere. The scenery that surrounds you is mostly brown and grey so even the views aren't worth it.
