Restrooms and showers were closed with no notice before going to site.No employee available.Space was very uneven and too uncomfortable to sleep on.Camp spots were too narrow and too close.Very dissatisfied.I will not no back and will not recommend it.

This campground was run by the Army Corps of Engineers. You would think it was squared away and above standard. It was far below. The restrooms and showers were closed due to needed repairs from flooding. Not sure when the flood happened but we were left with two womens port a potties and one mens. It said it was good for 10 people a week on the cleaning schedule. However the excrement was 2/3 full with another week to go. There were downed trees and debris everywhere and the water fountain was non functional. The vault toilets at Indian Cove campground were cleaner than these. It was so disgusting many of us in surrounding sites wanted to leave but it was too late. We got out of there first thing in the morning. The website misrepresented this campground greatly.

Campsite #73 was in a great location, which we enjoyed very much. The only drawback was that there was no BBQ/cooking grate over the fire pit, so we had to pan fry our steaks. The campground host, Jon, was very helpful.

We had very low expectations of this campsite. We had never been and had only learned about it when looking for local campsites on the app. We wanted to take our young children on their first camping experience while still being close to home in case it didnt work out (moms, you know what Im talking about lol!)This camping experience was WONDERFUL! Clean campsites, clean restrooms, showers available if needed. Janice (the sweet lady overseeing the campgrounds) was so dang nice. She loved talking to my kids and was so helpful. The picnic tables were sturdy and covered at our campsite. Not all sites had shad coverage but we lucked out. The weather that weekend was gorgeous and was the cherry on top! I would highly recommend this campsite!

It was hot and humid, but that is not the fault of the park or the Host. The host... I WISH i had gotten her name, was very nice and communicative. We saw her patrolling the property several times. We were in Yoku 73 and it was perfect. Near enough to the restrooms to have easy access. The restrooms could have been a little cleaner, but they were functional and had toilet paper (even though I have been to enough of these campgrounds to know to bring my own.) We spent most of our time over at Slick Rock, so my son could play in the river there. We will be coming back for winter camping at this site.

I had a sweet spot for my RV overlooking the lake. We were next to the showers and the bathroom. It was so convenient. It was easy check-in and our park ranger was very pleasant. It just got too hot that we had to leave days early. Other than that, it was a great experience.
