We stayed in Lodge Room 8 and it was spotless. There is a new hardwood floor, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots and pans the two beds were comfortable. The old walkway is gone and now there are a few steps downs to the new picnic table and two comfortable outdoor chairs to sit in and look at the lake. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Sadly, the only value in this reservation was the view of the beautiful lake and use of the beach. Customer service was absolutely the worse weve experienced anywhere. We arrived early and were told to come back at 3:00 check-in because they hadnt begun cleaning, when according to the reservation site, the unit hadnt been occupied for several days before and there was no cleaning crew in the unit. Lodges are in desperate need of updates. Lodge 8 had a moldy shower curtain and no screen on bathroom window, broken chunks of fiberglass in shower. The carpets were filthy. There was no screen in kitchen window and broken blinds and missing slats in kitchen & bedroom windows so privacy was lacking. Kitchen utensils are far less than basic. Theres no dishwasher so based on the rest of the unit, we washed absolutely everything before wed use it. There was one roll of paper towels, a small dish soap, and a sponge that had literally been cut in halfcost saving!? Coffeemaker had no filter basket. Bring your own stuff!!When we checked out and mentioned the condition of the unit, we were told, Yeah, were working on it. No thank you for visiting, nothing. Took the key and said youre checked out. This could be a gold mine under completely new management and control.
