So nice here. Spacious sites, potable water, food boxes, toilets, maintained and well marked trailsand really beautiful views. What else is there to say. :)

Sky Camp has a nice view of the coast (if there is no fog). It is not the best spot if it is very windy or rainy, as there is little protection. The facilities (restrooms, bear boxes, trash cans ...) are well maintained. There is treated water available form the faucet. The Sky Trail going South along the ridge is in pretty bad shape and needs clean-up. There are several fallen trees and lots of brush, in particular South of the junction with the Big Pine Trail.

Sky camp site is lovely! We stayed at the group site and enjoyed beautiful starry nights, a spacious site, relative isolation from the other folks camping there (which was great since we were a larger noisier group). The site itself was nice, but a little more slanted on the hill than we would have liked. The tent pads, at first glance, are large and spacious. However, not a lot of the tent pads are particularly usable unless you want to sleep on an angle. It worked for our smaller group, but may pose challenges to groups > 12. One of the picnic tables was nice and level; the other was quite slanted down the hillside. Also, when I asked one of my group-mates what they would give as their review, they stated, "I kinda would have liked a tree." Not a lot of shade at this particular site, but that's a hallmark of Point Reyes! All in all, a great site with a few flaws of nature to make for a fantastic camping trip!

Group of middle schoolers went on a 3 day backpacking trip at Point Reyes, and it was amazing. It was cold, rainy, windy, muddy but was totally amazing. Sky and Coast group campsites were really great with vault toilet, potable water, picnic tables bear bins, and had plenty of flat durable and tentable areas to accommodate our 8 tents. Hiking trails were all well maintained and clearly marked. The sunset and tidepools at the beach near Coast camp were wonderful, and the stars, oh my the stars, in the post-rain clear early morning sky were amazing too. So aside from braving the bad weather, our backpacking experience was memorable, and we will certainly be back in a few months to explore more of Point Reyes.

Great for bikepacking! We arrived after dark and had to ask other campers where the water spigot was because it wasn't immediately obvious but otherwise had a great time.

Beautiful seashore with stunning views. Minimal people in the off-season was a bonus.

It was very beautiful and lush green everywhere. The waterfalls down at the beach were Magnificent. We stayed at both wildcat, which is on the beach, and sky camp and both graced us with lovely sunsets.

Beautiful spot. Separation between many campsites. Staff at visitor center was very friendly and helpful. But there is poison oak in many places, including some very close to the trial, but none encroaching that I could tell.

We showed up to this site ($60) and there was a man living there. The bear box was full of his food, his belongings took over the table, he left a bike. It made me feel unsafe and I would not recommend if you are a group of females.
