We stayed at Glen and Coast campgrounds. Glen was great...secluded. No wind. Overall very enjoyable. Coast was OK, it was extremely windy the day we went. What is great about these campgrounds is they have potable water and toilets. Plus places to sit (a cement bench) and bear lockers. This makes camping for novices like myself to be much more enjoyable. It still is hard sleeping on dirt, but it's camping overall.Generally quite impressed with the trails too. Occasionally they get overgrown, but overall they were great.

There were so many mosquitoes. No one was prepared for it. Everyone just hid in their tents or under blankets. I really wanted to go to the beach and watch the sunset or sunrise but the moment it cooled down for the afternoon and morning, it felt like I was constantly swarmed by 50 of them.

Sky Camp is really beautiful. If the fog rolls back, the view of the ocean especially at sunset is amazing! The campground ran out of water the night we were there, that's why I took off a star. Not good if you plan for potable water. Any trails to the coast are overgrown with tons of plants, including poison oak. Fire road from Sky Trailhead was great-- watch out for thousands of banana slugs! Sites 11 and 12 were off the beaten path.

Awesome 3 day 2 night trip. Great campgrounds, major plus for water at each campsite. Took the bear valley to coast to Glen route. Would do again for sure, maybe turn it onto 3 nights and add sky camp.

Good hike. Nice campsite. A bit close to other campers. Nice and sheltered from the weather.

There were three of us in two tents and we spent the first night at Sky #3 and the second at Glenn #5. Next time I go to Sky, I will try a different spot, one further away from the group site (#2) and see if it has more space for 8. If we had another tent at that site, it would have been on more of a slope. Glenn #5 was much more level and a beautiful site. Animal canisters are newish at both sites and in great shape. Make sure to check in and get a parking pass for your car. I dont believe this is mentioned in the reservations.

Nice secluded camp spot! 4/5 stars due to the lack of sunlight and how dark the campsite was compared to some of the more exposed/open sites. With that said, this ended up being a big plus as none of our stuff was wet or damp in the morning due to the tree coverage. Other campers at more exposed sites had to dry their gear out in the sun the next morning. It was pretty warm the weekend i went though (low 70s and high 40s), so the spot could be damp on cooler days. Nonetheless it was a very quiet and cozy campground. Would love to come back again.

Everything was excellent, including the weather. Hike to Glenn campground with 40lb pack was difficult for an old geezer, but not impossible. Hike to beach and waterfall was beautiful and well worth it - and easier without a backpack. Take hiking trail back - beautiful. One recommendation - installing lending libraries at each camp ground

Partner and I went in late August for 2 nights of backpacking. Overall, park staff were friendly, available, and knowledgeable at the entrance. The trails were very well maintained. On day 2, about 0.2 miles into our trail, we came across a team of 4 clearing the trail from the over growth. Day hikes were enjoyable to see the landscapes change from tall trees, and blossoming flowers, to wide open beaches and seashore exploring. Stars were stunning at Sky camp, and Glen camp was absolute tranquility. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked with toilet paper. Secured trash bins at each camp site and clean drinking water at camp. Loved my first experience ant Point Reyes and It wont be the last. 10/10 would recommend as its also a good place to ease friends to Backpacking.

Nice site but no sunlight. Everything was damp a wet for the two days that I stayed.

Glen Camp is often thought of as the last choice for camping in Point Reyes, but it’s not bad at all. The some of the sites are nicely secluded and the scenery is pretty. The coast isn’t too far of a hike from camp and Glen is a nice distance for a new backpacker. Don’t forget to bring bug repellent or a mosquito net as there are mosquitoes.

Campground was awesome. I took my wife here for her first backpacking trip. It was nice to have bathrooms and fresh water. A rare thing for backpacking, Te scenery is beautiful and this time of year, uncrowned. This is a beautiful park.

Beautiful hike along a wide trail to a sweet secluded camp site. We hiked to the ocean the following day and had the beach almost all to ourselves.

We stayed at Glen camp. Very clean facilities, clean flowing water and trash collected promptly. Sites 5,6,7 are super private with their own cover of trees and shrubs.. we stayed at 5. Trails to get to camp are well maintained. Will certainly go back next year.

A great trip to Glenn site partly ruined by a groups of horse riders. The group, four riders, arrived at Glenn around 10 in the morning. Glen does not have any horse posts and it is obviously clear that horses should not enter the actual campsites. Nonetheless the four riders went around multiple sites (one went all the way to site #8!), passing by tables, and (unoccupied) tents. They eventually climbed up to site #1, still mounted on their horses. When I politely mentioned to them that bringing horses into a campsite was not probably allowed, the lady leading the group replied that she "had been doing this for 30 years" and that they were just "having lunch". I did not argue, but the result of their little incursion was obvious at site #2, where a horse did what horse do ... poop on ground, right close to a table ...

Not a huge deal, but i would be nice if there were clear signs at Glenn indicating the obvious: horses and raiders are not allowed to stomp around campsites!

Elevation gain from Five Brooks TH to Glen Camp was more than expected. Great workout!!!

Glen camp was extremely clean and well kept. If you are going to hike down to the beach, make sure you take coast trail down for the epic views.
