Always inspiring! Thanks Point Reyes National Park for keeping this place sacred and pristine!

We went for a two night winter backpack trip. Started at Laguna trail head and first night at Coast Camp (#7) and then second day hiked to Sky Camp (#3). It was wonderful and although we did part of the trip over MLK (Sun-Tue), the trails were never super busy. This was a wonderful, easy mileage great get-away. Campsites were perfect and restrooms as clean as expected (for vault toilets).

We stayed at Sky, then Coast for 2 nights, and then Wildcat camps. I can't say enough about how incredible the trip was. Sky was beautiful but can't beat the location of Coast and Wildcat being right on the beach. The potable water at each camp, as well as the recycling, trash, and out house services were amazing. I've never been so spoiled while backpacking. There is a lot of poison oak on the trails and campsites though so be careful and maybe bring some poison oak wipes. We also saw a wildcat (or 2?) one night at Coast camp which was awesome, but I've never been so thankful for my bear spray since it provided a feeling of security. We also saw seals in the ocean, elk, rabbits, ground squirrels, and other wildlife. The nights didn't get cold either which was great. Also, I don't think there was cell reception anywhere (although my phone was on airplane mode the whole time so I can't say for sure). Anyway, all around great trip if you can get a reservation! We were surprised at how many campsites were vacant considering it was so hard to get the reservations... too bad people didn't cancel beforehand! I wouldn't want anybody to miss out on this experience if they want it. Please just treat it all with respect and leave no trace!

Camped at Coast Campground site 7, which is the farthest up the camp trail. Which means privacy (good) but farther from water and bathrooms. I'd book that site again. Camped at Site 10 at Sky Campground. Absolutely ZERO shade so plan to come later in the day. Nice site with great views of the sky and fairly private (again the last one in the camp trail). Site 10 has a pretty good hike down, and back up again, a steep hill to get to bathrooms and water.

We did the 4 campsite backpacking loop - Glen, Wildcat, Coast, Sky. Had a great experience. The trails were well marked and the campsite facilities at Glen, Coast, and Sky were very nice. The picnic table and bear box at Wildcat were somewhat marginal but still functional.

What a great place for a "lazy" backpacking trip. You can hike in either via the beach or the trail from the Environmental Center, and either way it's <2mi. Individual campsites are large and spaced generously apart for privacy. Each site has its own picnic table and charcoal bbq grill, and overall campground amenities include potable water, pit toilets and trash bins. The ocean felt safe for swimming, and there are nice hikes up and down the coast. I would definitely camp here again.

Wonderful experience. Lots of empty sites. At the time, I reserved the last site available so it was disappointing to see open sites I would have preferred. Maybe they canceled last minute. Thanks for everything you do!

Pt Reyes is beautiful. The campsite was clean and spacious. Toilets were clean and well supplied. Campsites had bear boxes which were extremely useful.

Point Reyes is gorgeous and the campgrounds and sites are very well maintained. Easy hike in. We got lucky with a clear night and happened to see the Perseid meteor shower. Amazing!

Easy hike in, nice secluded sites and beautiful views. Bring your tick spray.

Beautiful beach with plenty of hiking and exploring. We stayed at campsite 7 and enjoyed the spot, it seemed like it was the most secluded one. I highly recommend doing the hike to Muddy Hallow from here, its about a 6.5 mile loop if you take the beach and its a great hike.

3 mile hike is absolutely worth it!

I know, the Park service is broke. But the picnic tables are in deplorable condition. As long as we take a bear cannister, the rodents who can get in to the food lockers, cannot get to our food, but next on the list, could be to replace the food lockers. I know, it is all about money and maybe President Biden will make things better. But it is such a bargain for a campsite with water.
