The camp site at Glen Campground are small and can hold only 3 one person tents. Only 1, 2, 4 and 10 are larger and can hold 4 or 5 one person tents. Camp site 1 is the only site that has a tree pair suitable for hammock hanging-only for 1 hammock. All of the small sites have bramble paths to them. The bathroom odor affects sites the large sites. All sites have a flat spot for the tents, picnic table, and large food locker. Site 10 has no shade and no privacy as it is in the center of the Campground. The trail to the Campground from Five Brooks parking lot is well marked . The trail to Wildcat Campground and the coast is well marked.

Such a lovely location, Ive backpacked here for years. The visitors center and staff are so friendly and helpful. Sad to see that common courtesy in the campsites is less common now. We stayed at Glen camp with a small (extremely polite) scout troop and a group of mountain bikers (who had booked several sites) stayed up shouting and talking loudly until midnight. They also peed all over the bathroom to the point I had to throw bowls of soapy water to rinse things down so that my girls could even use the toilet. Another group was playing music on a portable radio during the day. I do not understand the lack of consideration for others who presumably picked this location for its natural beauty and peaceful setting.

Great backpacking. Well spaced camps. Water and bathrooms at each backcountry camp. Beautiful fern forests and amazing sweeping ocean views. I'll be back!

Generally the site is good. The best feature is being able to scan the availability grid.Caution ... selecting 2 boxes is 1 night. We wanted to reserve 2 nights, so I selected 2 boxes. Turns out that was check-in and check-out, so my kids were forced to depart on their second day. I know it's my fault, but the interface could be more clear and obvious what one is selecting.

The camp itself is well maintained. My only complaint is that the reservations were very hard to make. I had to stalk the website to get the first night, and then the day we were leaving I was able to get a second night. We hiked into camp fully expecting a loaded camp ground. Instead we found only two other campers and on the second night only one other camp site was occupied. It would be wonderful if people had the common courtesy to cancel their reservations when they know they're not coming to make it available for others. Other than that, the trail was beautiful, the weather was great and it was an overall good experience.

My second backpacking trip at Pt Reyes and love love love Glen camp ! our site (#8) was perfect. It had the right amount of space for two of us and open to the sky so we could star gaze at night.

We had a great hike in. Our camp site was shady and private with plenty of space to set up a tent. There is a large storage box provided in addition to a picnic table. The vault toilets are close by and so is a water source. The campground was pretty full by night fall but the sites are well separated. When I booked this site, I was not aware that there are three distinct camp sites at Point Reyes. Glen, which is the site we inadvertently chose, is more than two miles from the beach. Although it is lovely, it is not what I was looking for in my stay at Point Reyes. We made the best of our trip by hiking down to the beach to hang out but it's a long steep hike. Just be sure to check the location of your camp site to make sure it's where you want to stay!

We enjoyed 3 nights at Glen Camp. A sweet 12site camp with only 7 sites taken. Lots of Birdsong, great hikes- to the beach and Waterfalls 7 1/2 miles ( out and back), down to 5 Brooks 10 miles ( out and back) perfect weather!

Point Reyes is beautiful and great for backpacking. The surroundings were beautiful, and everyone we passed was friendly. The accommodations at Glen Camp were good, but I only gave it four stars because:-The site we stayed at, #8, only had room for one tent. We thought it'd have ample room for two tents...-Glen Camp overall is pretty exposed. Some sites there are visible to all the other campers there. But we had a great trip overall, and we'd be happy to try it again!

We loved the Glen Campground. The hike in was doable for kids (4.9 miles), the bathrooms were fine, and the water tasted great. There's definitely a difference in quality of campsites. We were in site 8 and were very happy there, although it was in full sun during the day (but not really an issue if you go on a day hike). We saw either a coyote or a mountain lion on a trail, and tons of cool birds around the campground. We had a whole family of quail living at our campsite, which was so entertaining. We will definitely be back, but we'll probably try to book one of the shadier sites.

The campsite area is small and good for no more than one tent. We have one 3-person tent and one 2-person tent, and we had to set the tents really close to each other.

The original campground we booked was Sky, however we found out later on it was closed. Our second campground was Glenn. We had to hike 4 miles in and out to get there with our camping gear and it was another 21/2 miles to the shoreline. There was nothing special about the campground, other than in the middle of the woods. The shore was amazing views! Experience was good.

Great trail (5 miles total, moderate 3mi up, then slightly easier 2 miles down) good sineage (obvious, easy to read milage at every junction), excellent campsite.

Camp (Glen) was clean and spacious! Trails well-maintained. Only note would be to be prepared to carry in water in case the camp pump system fails unexpectedly
