Hike from Bear Valley visitor center to Sky campground was beautiful but very overgrown, check clothing for ticks. Hiked sky and bear valley trails to complete the 12.5 mile loop. Beautiful and challenging hike overall.

Really nice campsite with a great view. Ground is flat and cleared but a bit rocky so stakes are difficult to put into the ground. Quick hike in from sky trailhead.

Pt. Reyes National Seashore never fails to provide joy and a reminder how special our protected public lands are in the United States of America.

The site is amazing and beautiful. The stars were so bright and we could see the Milky Way once it got fully dark. The ocean waves were calming and we saw a deer in the morning! So why not 5 stars? Noisy neighbors who didnt understand what quiet hours are. The site is wonderful, but keep in mind other people will be there too.

Had the entire campground to myself, great view from #11! Cold and breezy, just fine!

Beautiful campground.I had campsite #11 and incredible ocean views. Pretty good privacy- can see site 10 but far enough away that doesnt feel obtrusive. Flies kind of are relentless during late morning/mid day though but went hiking most of day so wasnt too much of an issue. Awesome hikes nearby. Recommend for sure.

This place has quickly become my 7 year-old son's favorite spot to take his friends on their first backpacking trips. It's a short hike in (1.5mi) and then he likes to day-hike down the mountain and act like a little guide on the Earthquake Trail. We've consistently gotten great views from the site and almost always see the grey foxes at the site.

Sky Camp site 11 is one of the most beautiful sites I've ever camped in. Just spectacular--view all the way out to the Farallons, lovely flat ground for the tent, nice table and bear box. The bathrooms were clean, the water was available. Can't complain at all! I worried that the fire damage would make the sites less nice but actually things are growing in beautifully and the view is even more expansive than it used to be.

Facilities were really well maintained, even in spite of the recent weather. I'm aware of lots of trees down in the area, but the road to the trailhead and the path to the campground we're both clear. Thanks for the great experience!

campsite 11 seemed to be one of the most private (as well as 10--11 and 12 can see each other, 5 seemed nice too) and with excellent views of the coast, however it became EXTREMELY windy by early morning so with no trees at this site and being totally exposed was not the cutest. worth it if yr prepared. fog rolled in by the evening and stayed until my departure the next morning. the hike up from bear valley visitor center was gnarly. 1000+' up and up and up, and with a pack, is intense and tiring. good to go slow, take breaks, and drink water (so nice that there's fresh water on site). the hike down woodward valley trail (beautiful! shaded until closer to the beach) to the ocean (coast camp) via sky trail was about 4 miles one way and so nice, steep coming back but easier without a pack! lots of wildlife, birds, and berries. pt reyes is a special place, i can't wait to stay at the other campgrounds and explore more.

Beautiful spot, worth the effort to get here! Can be WINDY -- make sure to use rocks to weigh down your tent stakes!

Sky Camp was beautiful - Site 11 was nice & quiet (we had a little bit of rain overnight, so I think that kept the crowds away - most sites were empty!)
