Our camp host was awesome! thanks so much for being so welcoming. We had our 1 year old with us, and unfortunately ran out of firewood towards the evening. Ed was so nice and even let us put wood for the campfire on our tab because the office was closed. We payed for it the very next morning. We stayed in #38 with a large tent. Its a smaller spot and sloped as you walk to your vehicle. Probably not the best for a camper in my opinion. This spot offers A Beautiful clear view of the stars which would be a great spot for a telescope and a hammock. Our neighbors were all very nice. The campground was soooo quite at night you could hear a pine cone drop. There is a small overpriced store right across the street that is great for last minute or emergency things. The beach was rather rocky so we did end up driving to kings beach, and getting stuck in 3 hours of construction traffic . No showers at this location which I dont mind because Bathrooms were nice and clean. This campground is also nestled in the woods, but rather close to the street and somewhat in peoples backyards? So I thought that was a little strange. But if you get a site inwards, further back, or a yurt, it is easy to ignore the houses. We had a great experience but next time we will try a different campground closer to the sandy beaches. Thank you for having us for our first ever family camping trip.

I had a great time camping here. The host was very kind and welcoming. We had an encounter with a bear. It was very docile but we still kept distance. Highly recommend this sight to anyone!!!

Nice campground. A bear came into our space the two nights we stayed. We get very scared !!! Then we talked to the manager of the place and he said that the bear was going out every night to look for food and that we just take care not to leave food on the tents. They should notify us when we check in.
