Lovely campground, great beach, and camp hosts were great. Site 43 is good with a good amount of space between both neighbors. If you are setting up your tent at night, look carefully to ensure you're not setting up over an ant hole as there were many throughout the site (though ample space for tents in between). Also, note that there are deer mouse nesting in the tree roots near the picnic table/bear box. They weren't a problem, but they were active at night, so whatever food items you're not paying attention to on the table after dusk is probably fair game.

I love how well kept this campground is. The beach is exquisite. And all the staff are friendly and helpful. I also love that every time I camp here the other campers seem to acknowledge the luck they get for booking at this campground and are very respectful and kind.

Such a wonderful campground. Right next to the beach, the campground is mostly sand, less dirt than others. The big thing that makes it great is the amazing staff. They are friendly yet protective of the campground and us campers. This place is walking distance to Round Hill Pines resort which is a gem also. The only downside are the day trippers, they block and clog everything on warm days and especially weekends.

Camp host were awesome. Camp site were clean and ready when we arrived. Only thing the trash cans were over flowing. People left trash around the dumpster. Our bears sure liked it.

Large shady spaces right next to the lake. Beach has a separate section for dogs.

The staff is just fantastic. The campground is always clean and just a wonderful place to stay. They make you feel welcomed and we cannot wait to return.

Was enjoying my morning when a camp host aggressively approached with fists balled up. He jumped off his cart so fast I thought he would crash. He was convinced I did not have a reservation. I had to show him my reservation confirmation twice because he thought I had forged the camp tag. This person does not have the temperament to be a camp host. Very bad experience that ruined a nice camping vacation.

Setting was great, the staff was helpful, the bathrooms were clean. Great times!

Only complaints: too many campers in individual sites. More than campground rules supposedly allow. Rules need to remind campers to NOT walk through others sites. Rude!

Very well managed. Hosts are very kind and helpful.

This is the most difficult campground to get a reservation at. We live in Nevada and can't compete with all of the California population reservations. Due to the fact that the campground is in Nevada, I think there should be some priority for Nevada Citizens to reserve camp spaces. I doubt that I will get a response to this, but I would greatly appreciate it.

Site 13 has a ton of space for tents. We had 3 tents and had plenty of space for more. Nice view of the lake. Parking pad could fit 4 cars if that many are allowed. Bathrooms were clean. A coyote consistently roamed the campground early morning for food on each of my visits, so use that bear box. My only suggestion is better communication with camp hosts. 100 percent of my interactions with the hosts over my several visits this summer went like this: host approaches me with hostility, I nicely share I have a reservation, host becomes really great and helpful. I don't know if that means people need to be nicer to camp hosts, but any hostile first interaction could become bigger than it needs to be. Otherwise, hosts were great.

Beautiful camping among the towering trees, right next to Lake Tahoe. Our site had no one nearby.

My favorite campground in Tahoe! It's hard to get a spot here, but for good reason. Easy beach access and a short drive/walk to town.

Second time here. Such a nice campground, quiet, great beach, good hiking and also rode my bike 15 minutes to state line to have a beer and a bite and watch Monday football!!

What a beautiful place. Every parking spot was filled but it felt private as there was good space between each. Most people were in rather large vehicle campers but my little tent was great. The beach setting was a close walk and the views were incredible. Only complaint were the plethora of dogs and ALL off leash. Most were controlled very well except one who not only personally came up and bothered me withou the owner paying any attention to it as she picked its giant defecation at the edge of the water. I had to shout at her to control her animal. There is an area meant for people on the beach with dogs but they wer everywhere

This is our first time at this Nevada campground and I have to say that I am pretty impressed. Our campsite is 48; it was all the way at the end of the loop. It had a number of trees and pretty good shadesuper clean and beautiful. The bathrooms are super clean and the hosts are super friendly especially Donna.The Nevada Beach is just nearby at a walkable distance with super clear waterthere is a trail next to the campground that leads to the Round Hill beach which is another great one with facilities like jet skiing, kayak rentals, paddle boarding etc. Overall, a great campground that is centrally situated to a number of Nevada beaches.

Love Nevada Beach. The southern most restroom could use some updating but the campground is one of our favorites. We love that there is a dog legal beach. A little disappointed that some of the hiking trails were decommissioned.

We always enjoy our camping adventure at Nevada Beach. The Rangers and camp host Are always very attentive and helpful. They really take time raking the sites around fire pits and keeping bathrooms clean . If they had showers would even pay a higher fee , or pay for showers. Just wish it was easier to get reservations. We had 2 new nights ; tent camping;2 different campsites ( had to move). Maybe if they could add more sites? Be even better. Thanks.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
