We stayed at campsite number 16 and had a wonderful experience. Walking distance to the bathrooms and ample space in between neighbors.

What a fantastic gem this is! Campgrounds are beautiful with tall trees for plenty of shade. We stayed in a site with a meadow behind our RV, very private and beautiful. Fallenleaf lake is a short hike. It is much less crowded than Lake Tahoe, very serene.

This campground is stunningly beautiful with massive trees, snow-capped peaks right at the water's edge and filled with friendly camp hosts and campers. Truly spectacular views, lots of privacy and numerous hiking and MTB trails.

Nice campground with large sites but the bears are a big problem. We saw 2 bears wondering the campsite the first day and then 3 bears the first night; each day after that we saw at least one bear. We stayed for 5 days. The first 2 days we camp next to a college group that never went to bed. They partied all night had loud music and a ton of party lights going through the night. We where disappointmented when we discovered that it looked like the camp host was directly across from this routy group. Also, read up on the bubonic plague before you bring your dogs into the park.
