This is my best camping experience ever. The campsite, facilities are well maintained and clean. Very beautiful scenery. Highly recommended

I really enjoy this campground. The location in beautiful, the hosts and workers friendly and the bathrooms are CLEAN! It's set back off the main road and many of the sites are very large and edge on the forest. Bike paths and trails everywhere, close to town for a night out and across the way from Lake Tahoe. I hope no one else finds out about this place, I know I don't like to tell people where we are camping when they see our pics! You can swim, hike, bike, canoe, kayak or just stay at you site and enjoy the beautiful mountains and forest.

2 out of 5 overall: great grounds but it doesn't make up for the awful policies and workers.
5/5: nicely paved; good room between spaces; since sites are gigantic, it's a shame only one RV per site for those ones; water insure for RV fill-up and they're building a dump station; some pull through sites, close to lakes for recreation and very close to river for ambience.
0/5 for management and hosts: my reservation was scheduled for 6/1 to 6/9. I was emailed that they wouldn't be open until the 2nd. When I showed up the 2nd with truck and trailer and I was told my trip was cancelled because I wasn't there for the first night. No exceptions. I was fined for that and then charged to stay for the remainder of the vacation. I was put in a yurt site for a couple nights. Trailer barely fit and truck did not, hosts told me I could park sideways in the dirt. Then they moved me to another site but was still over a mile away from family and friends. I spent a couple days driving back and forth because the walk to the group was too great with my babies. Until they said I had to leave my truck at my own site. Then I couldn't really go visit. I don't want to relive anymore of the details but will mention, the site I had originally reserved, and 5 out of the 7 other adjacent sites next to my group, went un-filled for the duration of the trip. No obvious reason to put my on the complete other side and ruin my vacation. Some of the hosts were complete jerks, the couple nice ones were trying but failing to make up for them. If somebody from the campground or reservation company wants to talk more, please reach out.
