Loved this spot, spacious, clean, bear box. Gorgeous campground -- photos don't do it justice. Bathrooms close by and well-maintained/clean. Water spigots just a short walk from the space.

I loved our first experience here at this campsite! I loved how close the bathrooms were and how clean and somehow fresh they smelled compared to campsites Ive been to in the past. Also, during our 3-night stay, they were NEVER without toilet paper; Just be sure to bring your own hand soap as they dont provide it- likely because of the scent. We had some furry friend encounters so its important for other campers to heed the warnings and follow the rules regarding food and scented products. The campsite was close to a lot of beautiful beaches and we loved the fallen leaf lake that was just a short walk away. The Camp Richardson general store was a short distance away, along with bike rentals, so it was very convenient and we wanted for nothing.Ive heard from a few people that Fallen Leaf is their favorite campsite in South Tahoe, and I agree!! 10/10 would recommend Your only regret would be not staying longer.

Lots of pollen in the area at the moment, other than that place is beautiful. Almost like a private lake not to far from campsites.

Just an amazing place that you will never forget. Spots are fairly level with some sun and shade. Staff is great and facilities are great. Can't wait to get back again!
