Site #19 is almost the furthest to the lake… Parking lot is short and cracked and bumpy. We have a 8 person instant tent and can’t find a good place to fit it in. We squeezed it on a slanted place at last. There is a flat place nearby the bear box where I dare not to choose… there is a creek just behind the site, we got lots of lots of mosquito bites even with mosquito spray.
Not every site is like this one. Most sites are pretty good. The whole campground is clean and well maintained.

Great staff, clean bathrooms, clean, fresh mountain water enjoyed my quiet stay.

Great location, thought we couldnt go because of Caldor Fire, then it was ok, but it snowed. The campground was beautiful, the lake and Taylor river amazing, just no fish. Will go back again!

It was mine and my husband’s first time here. Stayed one night. I just wish making reservations online provided the location. We had to go to someone to find where our camping site was. Rangers came by and pretty much scared my husband about a mama and her cub. Yet there were other campers that left all their condiments on the table instead of locking it up. But overall it was great for one night! Also I wish the website was a little more friendlier.

There were a lot of trees around. It was kind of scary
