My wife and I were in site #33. It was a nice site with a lot of open space, The reason I giving a rating of very good instead of excellent is because the mens potty not urinal was out of order.

The staff & hosts were great. Bathrooms & general maintenance very good. We enjoy the big open spaces between campsites. There are plenty of hiking & biking opportunities. The lakes are beautiful, but the water is pretty cold. We've camped here over 10 years, and have had all kinds of weather, from hot to snow, windy or thunderstorms. Always the beauty of nature.

There are not many drinking water points at the campsite. It depends on where you are, you will have to walk pretty much to get drinking water.

I was impressed with the campground, it was well kept, and extremely quiet at night.

The only negative for my camping group was the “bears”. It appears there is a mother bear and two Cubs who will abscond with your food in a heartbeat. The bears were a non-issue as far as tent camping, the presence of the bears just caused difficulty cooking.

The staff did a excellent job warning us to keep all good locked up in the supplied bear box. My group did not have any issues because we listened to the advice, but many others near us did not listen.

I will definitely return again to this campground.

Great Camp Hosts! They kept track of everybody and everything going on in their "loop" Kept the sites clean- Restrooms were clean wish they had soap dispensers- Most of all, it was beautifully quiet and peaceful! Easy access to the beaches- and great bike trails leading through the park and out to the main street and other sites and adventures- Hopefully next year we will be able to have fires and BBQ's
