Incredible campground! Bring a bike, the roads/trails are so fun to ride. Fallen leaf lake is to die for. Cant wait to come back again soon!

Beautiful, well managed campground also well maintained except for the roads, which were in very poor condition. Bear activity was high and they are oblivious to people, noise, and other efforts to get them to move out of the campground, even during the day with people and pets around. Access to the lake itself was not well marked and there is an extra $10 charge for the lake access parking lot. Considering the high $41 cost camping for a USFS campground, I'd expect this and the dump station fee ($10) to be included. The good news is that there's a dump station. Given all of the above, I'd stay here again.

One of my favorite campgrounds in Tahoe. The lake is truly a gem and more secluded/not as busy. I stayed at site 137. I was able to fit three vehicles on the cement (one car parked horizontally since there was a roof tent) and just had to pay the $7/night after the first vehicle. Although placed right next to the bathroom, we didnt hear noise. $10 day parking for the lake so Id recommend to do the short 10 min walk there during your stay before checkout. No bears in sight during the night stay. 8/6 is a comfortable time to go with the day being around 80 degrees and night around 50s. For hot showers, tokens must be purchased at the camp store area ($1 for 3 mins). I think the bathrooms could have been cleaner.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Hosts are friendly, sites are well maintained, bathrooms and showers always kept stocked and clean. Fallen Leaf Lake is beautiful and a short walk from the campground site. Looking forward to our next visit.

It is always a gamble with the weather camping before Memorial Day. Got hit with a late night storm.
The people working the site, and the people camping were all very nice, and Fallen Leaf is a beautiful place. I will camp here again!

Absolutely loved the site! It got a little crowded the last night but it was the last night of the season. Extremely friendly staff.

This campground is just beautiful and peaceful, you have the lake within walking distance from you campsite, plus you have Tahoe Lake also very close by. The campsite host are very nice and helpful.We look forward every year to make this our vacation for a whole week, and it is't enough.
