Site 135 was large and spacious. On one side was the camp host and on the other were a bunch of bushes before the next campsite so it felt very private. There was lots of space for us to move around and plenty of options to place a tent. The site is a 10 min walk from Fallen Leaf Lake and a short drive to Glen Alpine Falls and Lily Lake. It is a beautiful site!

Fallen Leaf Lake is an absolute gem within the beauty of Tahoe. It feels like a hidden retreat, offering the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience. The campground itself is well-kept, and the flushing toilets are a big plus. Its close enough to town if you need a morning Starbucks, but far enough away to truly disconnect, soak in nature, and enjoy quality time with loved ones. Whether youre hiking, kayaking, or just relaxing by the lake, every moment at Fallen Leaf feels like a special escape.

This site is just a little tight getting into with a 25' trailer, but is pretty level, requiring no extra leveling. Pavement width is minimal, and this site has 4x4 stubs bordering the pavement. So, locate the trailer door accordingly. If you're towing a trailer, go really slow on the roads on the inside of the campground. Otherwise, it would be easy to leave some paint behind or run a wheel over some rocks. There are spots where I felt like I was threading a needle. Site #135 looks out on trees and a meadow in the back. Reasonably close to latrine, but long walk to showers. School is back in session, so it was quiet in the campground. Fall colors were popping up here and there in late season camping. Short walk to the lake, which was beautiful, glassy smooth with dramatic reflections, interrupted only by a guy trying to skip rocks unsuccessfully. :)

Great area. Convenient to many hiking trails and Lake Tahoe. Sites were spacious.Would have liked to have a dump station as part of the park.

Beautiful quiet campsite! Only issue was that the bathroom closest to us only had the men’s RR working, and it only had one stall. I decided to walk over to the next closest restroom and both Men/Women’s were closed! I feel like for how much the campsite fees are they should have brought in some port-a-potties or something and not leave their campers waiting around all morning for the 1 stall to be free.

Spacious campsites under yall trees. Beatif and quiet. A bit of a walk to Lake Tahoe but only 5-10 minute walk to Fallen Leaf Lake. Bring good light and soap as bathrooms dont have it, and also bring a tablecloth for the picnic table. Otherwise very clean and pleasant.
