We stayed at #113 for 4 nights and the site has pretty good privacy and it was close to the restroom. The restroom was very clean and you can tell the someone cleans it every morning. The camp host was very close to our site which makes us feel safe with the bear and our camping equipment. The shower facility was a little further than I like but it was also clean and roomy not like others you just get a stall. No laundry on site but there is so many of them less than 10 minutes drive from campground. No dish washing station, so bring extra pan to wash your dish at your camp site.Other than the above mentioned, Lake Tahoe is just so nice to visit and so beautiful. All we did was going to the beach relax and watch kids play in water.

I loved it! Host was friendly. We got bears around the tent at night. Coming back next year!

Amazing scenery. The bathrooms near campsite 5 were amazing, very clean and modern. Waking up in forest here was stunning. Would definitely recommend. Beginning camper friendly :)

Best experience ever! The staff were so nice! The place was clean, had hot shower, quiet, give us the opportunity to be close to bear twice. This campground just became my favorite place for camping!

Have camped here for many years, seen many hosts and always felt welcomed and cared for. I can certainly understand how crazy it must have been for the hosts and staff to communicate about the reopening, but if we hadnt worked hard to find answers on our own, we would not have known we could actually camp on the day we reserved almost a year earlier. Were grateful we got get there on the opening weekend, always a blessing to camp at Fallen Leaf. However, please be advised that our hosts had NOT done a thing to our site after the last guests had been there. No big deal, I cleaned my camp, removed all the trash and took care of the fire left smoldering, but heres the important point... our hosts had more parties and gathering each evening (site 113 just across the street) than Ive ever seen, the rest rooms were barely cleaned once a day! My wife reported that the same hair in the sink of the ladies room was there DURING THE ENTIRE FOUR NIGHT TRIP. Really thought with all the COVID 19 sanitation requirements/expectations involved, that the restrooms would have been extra clean with more attention than Id seen in the past. Nope, it was the opposite... the facilities were less attended too than Id ever seen in the 30 years Ive been coming up here. Please put your drinks down, pause your daily partying, put a muzzle on your yapping dachshund, pick up your gear and go do your job well... appreciate the chance to share.
