Though close to the crowds of Lake Tahoe, Fallen Leaf was a relaxing, beautiful experience. Especially once we learned where to access the lake from the campground to use our kayaks. The campground host was visible and so friendly and helpful. Same thing with the staff at check in and the little store. Campers were very respectful and honored the quiet hours.

Great location and experience in the trees. Close to everything and not as busy as camp Richardson.

Wonderful trip to Fallen Leaf Lake Campground again. Fast check in, helpful heads up on the bear activity and locked garbage dumpsters. Great hiking right from camp. A few bear visits but will a clean camp no issues for us. Will be back next year!

This is a quiet campground with many hiking and biking trails nearby. I also enjoyed visiting the lakeshore. The campground hosts were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and campsites were nice and clean.

The parking spot is asphalt. The asphalt should be blown a couple of times per week

Weve been to Fallen Leaf Campground with at least one visit for the past four years. The campground hosts are super friendly and helpful. The drive back to Glen Ellen Falls is bumpy but well worth it. Bonus is seeing some of the beautiful cabins around the lake.

Second time at Fallen Leaf campground (10/20), first time in (6/20). Both times had a great time. I think this is my favorite campground. Campsites are nicely spaced, bathrooms were very clean and surroundings are beautiful. A nice walk or bike ride to Fallen Leaf Lake and great bike paths along Lake Tahoe!! Great place to get away and enjoy nature with lots of outdoor activities (kayaking, hikes, bike rides, with bike rentals close by, in case you didnt bring one (just down the road, outside campground). Love this place and highly recommend it!!

Great campgrounds with spacious sites. Some sites are not really level for tent camping so be aware. Very active bears in the area so keep your food in the lockers!

Had a blast at Fallen Leaf Campground! It offers a wide variety of activities such as fishing, hiking, lake activities, and beautiful sight seeing right from camp! There's lots of wildlife (especially bears) so use a little common sense and put ALL food and rubbish in the bear box religiously and you'll be fine.
