Excellent campground.Big spots with lots of space for tents, clean toilets, clean bear boxes.Nicely surrounded with trees, fallen leaf lake 5 minute from camp slot.Really liked the place.

Beautiful site, spaced out well. Warning, absolutely no cell service. Not a problem so much as awrning. Staff was super friendly and the lake was perfect.

Havent been here in almost 20 years. So much nicer than I remember. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. They staged an additional person to process check ins during the 2pm crunch. A very friendly gentleman in a golf cart cleaned each campsite for new arrivals. Overall facilities were clean and well maintained. Best Ive seen in California!

Quiet, large sites, clean bathrooms & showers. It's an easy walk to Fallen Leaf Lake and close enough to town if you need anything.

The campground had just opened and it is a beautiful location and the campsites are nicely spread out. Not all of the facilities were yet open, such as the store and the showers were not functional since the newly installed token system for paying for showers had no tokens available. The token vending machine was out of order during our stay. Also there was construction ongoing to replace the parking pads at some of the sites. The new pads are very nice when they are finished but it would have been nice if the work had been finished before the campground opened. And lastly, the roads are awful, the worst of any paved roads. This is both Fallen Leaf Lake road leading to the campground and many of the roads within the campground.
