Had site 90. Great site with lots of space between campsites. Lovely peaceful lake so nearby. The only downside I would have to say is the shower. The token is for three minutes. But I shower pretty fast and I had soap and shampoo still all over. I felt like it was maybe two minutes at most. Campground itself was great. Oh! Please please please do something about the road leading to the campground. Its AWFUL!!

It was my favourite campground and site of my trip in California! The view, the position of this site was amazing!! Less people, near the lake and the shower. Perfect!
The campground is very closed to pope beach. If you are a biker you can use this instead of car. There are hotel shower with token and a dump station for 10 dollars. It is on the way to emerald bay. The fallen lake is gorgeous and less crowed. There are bears.

Absolutely beautiful. We didn't have any issues with bears while we were here either, which was nice!

No water or electrical hookups which was disappointing. But, did love how each site is so large and spread far apart from the others so it didnt feel like we were stacked right up next to each other. The open meadow in the middle made it feel even more spread out and beautiful. Super quiet campground, steps to the lake which was great for kayaking, loved it. Bikes are super helpful to go back and forth to the bathrooms, creek, beaches, local ice cream shop. Dogs have to stay on a leash but we used a 30 ft leash so they could play in the water. We went tubing on the Truckee River, to Angora Lake, Kiva beach, Hidden Beach and Emerald Bay. All fun activities and would recommend!
