The campsites are large and ours was quite private. The bathrooms were mixed in terms of cleanliness, which is the reason I am rating a 4 rather than a 5. Lots of families and groups, but it was quiet at night. We had a great trip, enjoyed a couple short hikes.

Love this campground, very clean and kept up with plenty of good campsites to choose from. Also, like the forest atmosphere and the lakes nearby. Always, have a good time camping here.

Fallen Leaf Lake is a magical place. We love bike riding as a family from the campground on the bike path to Lake Tahoe. Easy, safe and fun.

Spacious sites in a great location. Fallen Leaf Lake is beautiful and perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking.

Love the place. My favorite place in Tahoe. The lake is smaller, warmer and more protected. My only caveat-camping experience would be improved by reducing the sounds of multiple generators.

Great campground but a little baffled that during the Covid "pandemic" they would not have handsoap in the restrooms and that the showers were closed due to the situation. Isn't soap and water the best defense against this illness?

Didnt care for short wooden posts all over pad. Very difficult to maneuver trailer and posed a tripping hazard
