Beautiful campground. Wish we could have stayed longer. Fellow campers were respectful and friendly. Our section host, Martin was most accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Everyone at check in was helpful and informative, as well. Bathrooms were very clean. Cant wait to get back there!

Great location. Lots of hiking around beautiful Fallen Leaf Lake. The campground facilities were kept clean and there was a lot of support from the park rangers and hosts available. A 20-minute walk to Lake Tahoe via trail was great for variety and spectacular view sof Lake Tahoe.

Love this campsite! The camp host was super sweet, and we were able to carry our water gear to Fallen Leaf Lake no problem. A bear did come through, but moved along quickly after pawing at our bear box!

Location and showers($1 gets you 3 min) are great, that's probably the only good thing about the sites. The bathrooms, lets just say they are horrible, old, smelly and cold, probably one of the worst of all the campsites. Although the bathroom where the showers are... is sort of maintained. About the shower, you don't have a knob to set the temperature, it is automatically set to super hot. If you are ok with that, then great. The sites are fairly maintained. There are a lot of small rocks so you will have to clean the site. and believe me, the spot was extremely difficult to reserve through the website. The camp hosts and check in staff were nice, even though it took about few minutes to check in, which can feel like a decade since you are behind 10th car in the line.

What a beautiful camp ground. We had a lovely time with our children and grandchildren. We had site 151 and 152. Convenient site to bathrooms, water and garbage. Across from the camp host. Not far from the meadow that leads two Fallen Leaf Lake. We had a very nice time rafting and swimming. Bike ride was delightful to Lake Tahoe and the Historic tour was delightful. Will most definitely come again. Site 151 was in the sun and hot. Better site was 152, but it had a lot of rocks which were easy to trip on.
