Love to bike on the path and kayak at Baldwin Beach. We like the Goodwill in South Lake Tahoe for all kinds of treasures.

The campsite was very nice & clean, Lana was very welcoming & helpful with all our questions & needs. However, reserving a site at Fallen Leaf was almost impossible. We got up early to get onto the website, within minutes all sites are full, yet close to half the campsites were empty. Theres got to be a better approach for reservations

Great campground with good amenities, showers, shade. In general, people good about quiet hours. But a lot of barking dogs one night and a rowdy group being loud and playing loud music another night. The music got turned down after about 20 minutes, so it seemed the camp host did a good job. Some campsites a long way from the lake so I wish Id had a cart to get my paddle board down to the lake. Wonderful lake and location. Will definitely go back!

Were at Fallen Leaf for two nights in two separate spots - which were very different from one another but both good with enough privacy. In the first spot we had some noisy campers close to us, chatting in loud voices until midnight, that was unfortunate. Fallen Leaf Lake was incredibly crowded during the day, but in the mornings before 9-ish it was the best place ever to sit with a morning cup of coffee and just watch the quietness of the lake. Showers were closed due to Covid-19, but the toilets were open en incredibly clean throughout the day.

Location, location, location. Enough said. This campground is quiet, relaxing, exciting, ( bears), and so close to all Lake Tahoe has to offer. If you are able to camp without hook-ups this is a fine spot. Our site was secluded but close enough to our neighbors for friendship. Showers were within a short walk as well as nice bathrooms. We will go back, well, the wife may have a different opinion after the bear walked thru our camp. He/she didn't stop to chat, but was very close and not shy.
