Camp hosts were helpful. It was beautiful. It would be nice if there was no music heard from other campsites at night. We were glad that did not last very long.

Our campsite was beautiful and spacious. It was walking distance to Fallen Leaf Lake and a short drive to Lake Tahoe. There were several nice hikes within walking distance. The bathrooms and showers were convenient, as were bathroom tokens, ice, and firewood. Sadly the bathrooms were filthy during out 6 night stay. The toilets were very obviously not cleaned one time during out 6 night stay which was very gross.

Mid June Gorgeous time on the lake! Must walk to the beach from camp, very relaxing & a nice view of Mt Tallsc. Sunday-Tuesday was mellow. Hiked Mt Tallac; trailhead is close at a few miles drive away. Amazing views from atop! Campground was nice, shady and well laid out. Ill definitely go back. There was a tagged Bear that was a big problem here though. It was recommended I get out only what was needed from the bear box and put everything else back at all times-no joke!

Beautiful spot, campsites far enough apart so you feel like you arent on top of people. Highly recommend!

Great location on a beautiful lake. Access to Lake Tahoe minutes drive away or by walking or biking via a separate path. Lots of bear activity that made it somewhat scary at night although daytime could ensure they kept their distance when we were eating our food. Some loud neighbors on weekend nights and hosts not involved with quieting it (one host said their RV was sound proof so didnt hear a thingthanks.). One night two dumpsters werent locked properly by campers so bears had a blast making loud noises and making a messsome people just dont get it. Id highly recommend the outer ring of campsites for more quiet (95) although most sites you have ample space between sites.

Absolutely love this campsite. Location is amazing, the campsites are well taken care of, and the lake is beautiful. Only thing that always gives us some trouble is checking in when we have a big group. My husband and I had car troubles the day our reservation was supposed to begin so we couldn't make it up there that day. But our friends were still able to make it so they stayed the night. My friends got in huge trouble because they aren't supposed to stay there if the person who reserved the campground isn't there. First of all, that policy was never shared with me (or if it was, it needs to be called out better in the reservation reminders). Secondly, my friends were severely mistreated until we were able to arrive after our car started working again. If the campground had an issue, they should have reached out to me directly. I was never notified. Plus, trying to call into the campground is nearly impossible because no one ever answers or gives a call back. Otherwise, we love this campground.

This is a beautiful campground with large sites and many, many large trees. Our sites were well maintained and all the interactions we had with campground hosts were pleasant and helpful. The lake is a great place to swim, kyack, boat, water-ski, or sunbath. We will definitely be coming back.

Great for beginner or family camping trip. You don't even have to backpack your camping gear to camp site. You park your car or RV right by your tent. Camp fire still available on each camp site. food can store in locked steal box to prevent bear coming. I brought my own kayak challenge K1 there. Kayaking is great there. I can not get reservation in June or July, May is still a little cold in the night or in the water. Be prepared and you will have great fun once in your life time..
