It’s always a great time at Fallen Leaf Lake.
I’ve been coming here for a very long time.
Unfortunately, the bear situation is getting worse every year. There is a mother and two cubs, Plus a male or two come through as well… and I fear that someone is going to get hurt.

Great campground , staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Campground is fairly close (1- 1.5 miles) to Taylor Creek, a place that local black bears feed in the fall on the lake salmon. Actually saw a healthy black bear pass by headed towards the Taylor Creek. Highly recommended.
