It was awesome. The only problem was that there was no toilet seat in the mens bathroom.

We had difficulty finding our camp site #49, it was not labeled and neither were the group of sites that ours was in! However after working out the noise of our kind neighbors loud generator we had a nice two night visit. We would like to come back again when the lake has ample water in it.

This campsite could have a lot of potential, but unfortunately the lake is slowly drying up and the campsites are a bit of a hike to where the lakeshore is now. The temp goes up to 100+ degrees during the day in July and hiking 2-3 miles to the lake without shade is gruesome. In addition, majority of the campsites are sloping down. It was a little difficult to find a flat area to set up our tents. Did I mention that there was barely any shade/trees? So be prepared to bring a canopy for your picnic areas. Also, there were a lot of rude and dirty campers leaving trash everywhere, making loud disturbing noises and playing loud music past 10 pm. There were rangers patrolling the campsite during the day only and the restrooms are only cleaned once a week. When we arrive on Thursday, the bathrooms are filthy, but hosts came on Friday morning to steam clean the toilets, but imagine it not being cleaned for 7 days!? Lastly, the showers don't really work. It was merely a drip coming out of the shower head, you are better off bringing a portable shower or a bucket and use that! Only pro about this campsite is it is only 7 mins away from a grocery store. It was so easy to purchase things we need (like ice) during our stay.
