Camp grounds were clean. Sites are a little close. Only negative on our trip was restroom issues. One of the urinals was clogged and filled with gross liquid.

We really enjoyed our stay at Acorn Campground. Only small complaints I have is the bathroom nearest our site #92, the toilet paper was never filled and one of the urinals was backed up and out of service and stank the bathroom up badly. Erosion off the edges of most of the sites pavement needs attention, very steep and high drop offs, ankle twisters. We understand the campground has some age to it, but we thank you for the low cost to camp here and the senior discount available with the senior pass.The campground was very clean and quiet, wildlife everywhere, deer, quail, vultures, toads, egrets etc.We will be back!

Great shaded spot, close to the water. Lots of open area for flying my kite. Fun neighbors. Will be back! ~Darla

We went there for a 2 nights stay in an RV motor home.The booking site showed dump station available on site, but upon arrival we realized there was none. We had to cut short our trip to half, and also travel extra 30 miles to dump the waste plus pay for dumping.

Great campground. Many shaded tree sites. We were in three different spots and liked them all. Also liked the close proximity to Valley Springs for reprovisioning. We'll be back!

Campsite very clean but women’s restroom pretty gross, so just be prepared for that! I brought paper soap and wet wipes.

Lake is full and the grass is green. Stayed four nights mid week with an almost empty campground. Perfect. Valley Springs is 10 minutes away with all services, including a great Chinese restaurant.

Everything was very organized, no loud noises or garbage. Ranger presence but not overbearing. Peaceful surroundings, nice site, walking distance for a swim or kayaking. Respectful campers. Will return with my family.😊👍✌️
