My stay this time was more peaceful but it was humid and hot. They did change their parking rules in which was a huge inconvenience for us. Other than that no complaints!!

Facilities are good but they need to resolve an issue between campsites 112 and 103. Depending on what website you look at and depending on what ranger you speaker with, you get stuck with a good or bad camp table thats in the full sun!

Our camping grounds were taken by someone else and the Ranger on duty said it belonged to the other people and that the online photos were wrong we had no shade even tho the location showed it had shade I wouldn never had chosen the spot 112 had it shown the camping grounds we got. It was a very uncomfortable experience full sun all day and we couldnt even use our canopy from our RV because the campsite they said was ours was 25 feet away just an overall horrible experience

The place was beautiful. There were not too many cars, my kids were playing on the road, and it was safe; you could see the moon, and everything was clear and beautiful. The water is clean, and the lake is warm. The weather was helpful; it was not too hot or cold. Everything was an excellent experience. It was my first time there, and I'm sure I will repeat this. I only have an issue that I leave some food out of boxes and one deer where I go and take it. That was my only struggle, but everything else was perfect.

Showers and bathrooms were always closed.
Thr dumb station was a drive to tuttletown.

No one cleans the campsites, they dont say when you make the reservation that the dump station is closed, youre held captive because if you go out and are not back by 9pm you cant get in. I know people who have had to leave due to a emergency and cant get back in. Price has gone up, you now have to pay for launching and day use. Ive been coming here for over 20 years and its gone horribly down hill. Youre now charged more and get less. I dont know if the Rangers (who you may see once a day) are friendly, I did get one to wave at me. They need to turn it over to a private concessionaire to get it back in shape.
