This is not the kind of place you go to have a nice relaxing time by the lake. Access to the lake is almost nonexistent as the lake is too low to be near the campground or walkways. Near the water's edge it is very muddy, not a sand type surface. The campground itself is more like attending a music festival. It packed with loud people and loud music. We left one day into our 3 day trip to find something more suitable for relaxation.

Wonderfully setup campsites, not too close to each other so there are privacy. Surprisingly, the campers observed the Quiet Hours which was nice. Toilet and Shower facilities were adequate. The door stalls were broken so you have to use a chain to keep the doors closed. We would return to this campground again later this year.

The campground was well-maintained, and it was super easy to find our campsite. The bathroom was pretty nice. People were friendly and quiet. Overall, a relaxing and pleasant experience.

This is a horrible site. There's a steep hill that made it ridiculously difficult to move camping gear from my vehicle to the camping area. I'm not in great shape. This is not a site for people that have a hard time moving around or with disabilities. The lake is so dried up and you can't see any water from this site. Very unhappy experience. I took my friend on his first ever camping trip and it was sort of ruined because of the hill and no visibility of water. I should have done more research on this spot before making the reservation. There's a thick forest of trees to the west and down the hill that blocks the view of the lake. There's not much space for tents either. Don't take more than 2 people to this spot. It is very close quarters.

Camp host is a very helpful and friendly guy. I also love that the place is not overcrowded in the off season!
