Great campsite with a great view overlooking the Buffalo River. Concrete pad is level side to side, slopes down to the rear some but not too bad. B28 is currently shut down and there are some trees and growth towards B30, both provide this site with some nice privacy. Bathrooms are directly across from this site. 2 minute walk to the river access. The Indian Rockhouse Trail is about a 3.5 mile loop and fairly strenuous in some parts with some steep incline and decline, but is well worth the hike. The Overlook Trail is shorter, only about 1.5 miles but is also a great hike early in the morning to catch a sun rise.

The scenery is spectacular. Bring your telescope for some amazing star gazing. No light pollution here.

What a BEAUTIFUL location! We stayed in Loop E, was pretty empty for most of the week. Do note: Loop E doesnt have showers in their bathroom, that was disappointing. Keep in mind, no sewer at your campsites. Great water and electric though.

Excellent 2 nights! Wish Id brought my telescope! The only downside is that the dump station is about a mile away at the top of the hill. We have a pop up so we have a portable gray water tank. Water and electric hookups worked great! We will be back to float!

My youth Trail Life scouting troop had a wonderful experience at Buffalo Point, we plan on camping there again!

We were so pleased with the trip to this campground! At night, we set under the Milky Way for hours, saw 3 falling stars. The days, we visited the old Town of Rush, we hiked, we went into the little town of Yellville one day and shopped. Our campsite had a glorious view of the river and the shower house-restroom was clean and convenient. The Park Ranger gave us maps to all hiking trials. We will be back next year.

This national park is still as great as ever. I started camping here fifty years ago and it certainly has not lost its charm of camping in the wilderness. The park is very clean, as well as the facilities. The canoeing services nearby are a great way to enjoy the awesome Buffalo River.

We had excellent service, our site was clearly marked, there are so many trails and the river to enjoy. Be aware most do not allow pets so that's a huge hindrance. One of the prettiest places we've visited in the US. Worth the trip.
