Quiet campground in October. Indian Rock House trail is a good hike. However, many trees down across the trail. Maybe the trail will be cleared by spring.

This site at this campground is on the top of my list for quite getaways. Hiking and paddling are awesome in the heart of beautiful country.

My week camping at Buffalo Point has taken top-place in my camping book! I was in a tent at an RV site, so I had wonderful water right there, which is a real plus for me. Being right by the river was wonderful. The hike to the Indian Stone house was beautiful--even the rattlesnake we spotted! So much nature to take in! We paddled 2 sections of the Buffalo that were close to the campsite; they were easy paddles with many amazingly tall bluffs. I drove to Ponca to put in at the upper end of the river and it was DEFINITELY worth the 1.5 hour drive. This section had some Level 1 rapids and jaw-dropping beauty!
Buffalo Point is our favorite camping spot. Our favorite day is usually float day when we book a trip at Wild Bill’s and float the river.

The dump station needs work. It was full and over flowing. The water has no end on it to hook up. No fresh water available. Very disappointed with thizz as national park and the maintenance.

Campsite where we stayed were too crowded. The tents in site 47 were up against the back of our RV. River was high so not able to float. Trash containers were not convenient. Probably won’t camp here again. It was our first time. Beautiful area however
Wonderful time; facilities were great - in good condition and clean. The hike from the campground up the overlook trail and then out to the Indian Rock House was just fantastic. Highly recommended. Will be back!
