D67 was a nice site. Site D66 to the right can feel too close if they park on the left side of their site. It places their front door very close to your picnic table and fire ring.
The bathroom/shower is on the far side of the loop. It’s a quick walk.

Campgrounds are lovely, many sites are spacious and not too close to your neighbor. Canoe rentals from nearby vendors is the best way to enjoy the scenery of the Buffalo River bluffs. Saw bald eagles and lots of deer, turkey vultures, turtles. Bathrooms could use some minor repairs and updates, but were clean. Bathroom in Loop D only had one of two showers functioning and one of two sinks had running water. Rented one of the Pavilions for a family gathering of about 22 people, which provided a great place for potlucks.

Love Buffalo Point campground! The river was down this year because the state is in a drought this year and lots of algae floating around but still enough water to float in your tube or take a kayak trip down river. Beautiful scenery, and great trails to take. We have been camping there for the past 5 years and will continue to go back! I love the Buffalo River! Lots of things to do locally as well! Take a quick drive up to Yellville, or go see the White River.

Our campsite was awesome. The grounds around most of the campsites were manicured but the land that bordered the river wasn't kept so as far as the scenery around the river it just looked over grown. It would have been awesome to see the river from the campsites where we stayed and you could have if the grounds there had been manicured.
