Such a beautiful area! Our site was a little uneven but we got it relatively level in no time then explored nearby hikes and fall colors. Having w/e hookups was nice since it dipped into the 40s at night. Id come here again.

I was very impressed with this camp ground . A special shout out to Gidget, the nicest park ranger ever. She called us before arrival to alert us that our site had been moved due to a water issue at the booked site. She kept checking on us every day to make sure the new site was ok for us and she provided us with a lot of useful info about the area . The camp is laid out along a long stretch of the river , and all sites are fairly close to the water. The natural beauty of the area is stunning . Many different birds are chirping all around you and the stars at night are amazing . Just be warned of gnats, they came out as soon as the weather got a bit warmer. We made the mistake of not shutting all the windows of our trailer tight. They are so small that they come through the mosquito screens . They dont sting but are still super annoying .

One word FANTASTIC no other words describes the Buffalo river area I Refer to it as the center of the universe I talked with campers from California, Texas, North Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana they agree there is no place they travel quite like the BUFFALO RIVER area come see it enjoy it and leave it like it better than you found it I wish I lived there but wife says we have to go back to the Flat land to see our grandkids. It is the most relaxing place you can find thanks

Great campground! We love Loop B. This particular site is back in and is set up backwards. The fire ring and picnic table are on the opposite side of most standard camper's doors. It makes it a little inconvenient. Also just a warning there is no shade at this site.

This was our fist time to camp at Buffalo Point. We were pulling a 26-ft camper trailer. Started out in B-34, but moved because it was a reverse site. It was quite inconvenient to have picnic table and fire ring on the opposite side of camper from the door. We ended up in B-32. Excellent site. Let me just say that almost any of the sites in B loop would be great. Some are closer together than others, but they all offer privacy because your camper shield you from the neighboring side. That is with the exception of the two reverse campsites. We almost had the entire campground to ourselves. It was the weekend before water and electrical services were to be shut off for the season. The entire campground was Very well-maintained. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Overall it was an excellent experience. We will definitely return to that campsite!
