Gidget is an amazing park ranger who goes above and beyond. She went well out of her way to make the experience great for my grandchildren.

Beautiful area. Recommend section C for RVs, better spacing. Facilities kept clean, but not all showers functioning in D section. Dump site is not obvious if entering from the west, so get specific directions from the helpful rangers.

Water pressure is a bit much, but site was good, level, and well-spaced. Site backs up to the river and if the river is running high enough you can see and hear it from the site.

One of our favorite parks to camp at. Have been camping there for years. This last time around the end of October, on a Sunday morning the silence was broken by a park emplyee with a leaf blower that you could here a mile away. It was loud! So loud that I had to actually walked over to her and asked her if she wouldn't mind holding off untill a latter time or different area of the camp ground that no one was at. She said she had a job to do, and I understood that. But Sunday morning? But she did say she would finish up and move on which she kindly did.

Camp sites are clean, level. Bathroom is clean. River is beautiful.

We had spot D59 at Buffalo Point for a weekend in April and had an excellent time. The spot was great. We had an 18' camper and a tent on the tentpad. Electric and water worked great and the ground was level. The bathrooms were close by and clean. We did have a fairly aggressive raccoon hanging around on the first night. He actually unlatched my cooler in the middle of the night and ate some of my freezer ice pack, so watch out for that. Otherwise, everything was great.

Beautiful park! Our campsite was very shaded which was wonderful because Arkansas humidity was at its finest. The river was perfect!

Very nice camp area. We pull a 29' TT with a Ford Expedition EL. So our total length, TT + Tow vehicle is nearly 40'. The pad is large enough for us to fit our rig on and never even unhook!! That's always a big feather in the hat.

Campgrounds were clean and the scenery beautiful. What more could you want? No cell service.
